Logo Reconstruction
& Vectorization
Overview
Frantz Bros. Inc., a long-standing family construction company, had a logo that had been used for decades across equipment and materials. However, the mark only existed on printed items and physical objects — the original design files were long gone.
Without a digital source file, the logo could not be reliably reproduced for new signage, apparel, or marketing materials. Each reproduction risked distortion, low resolution, or inconsistency.
The goal was to rebuild the logo as a precise vector graphic while preserving the character of the original mark.
Approach
Using a photograph of the original logo as reference, I carefully reconstructed the mark from the ground up.
Each element was redrawn as vector artwork, including:
The banner and badge structure
Custom typography treatment
The Ohio silhouette and Sidney location marker
Line weights and spacing within the circular lockup
The focus was to faithfully match the legacy identity while creating a technically precise file that could scale indefinitely.
Result
The company now has a fully scalable vector logo that can be used across any application without quality loss.
The rebuilt artwork enables consistent reproduction across:
Signage and vehicles
Apparel and merchandise
Print materials
Digital graphics
What was once limited to aging printed artifacts is now a production-ready brand asset that will continue to serve the company for years to come.
